How do I update my Preferred Pharmacy?

It is easy to update your Preferred Pharmacy in your profile to ensure your prescriptions from your HealthTap virtual visits are ready for you fast at a convenient pickup location.

There are two ways to update your Preferred Pharmacy information:

  1. Update the information in your profile
  2. Update the information right before you start a Virtual Visit with a doctor.

Updating your Preferred Pharmacy information in your profile:

  1. Login to your HealthTap account
  2. Select My Records from the upper righthand corner
  3. In the My Records menu, select Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.01_PM.png from the options on the right
  4. Click on Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.13_PM.png
  5. You may select (BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO):
    • Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.18_PM.pngif it is a 24-hour pharmacy
    • Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.23_PM.pngif it is a pharmacy that mails your medication to a specific place
  6. Search your pharmacy by either city or zip code
    • NOTE: you need to enter the exact city or zip code in order for your pharmacy to appear. Nearby cities or zip codes will not work
  7. Select your pharmacy from the drop-down search list that is generated. You may need to scroll down (within the drop-down menu) in order to see all matching pharmacies.
  8. Once you have clicked on your desired pharmacy, click Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.30_PM.png
  9. Once you have selected your pharmacy, it should appear in your preferred pharmacy tab like so:

  11. If you wish to delete your preferred pharmacy and add another, click the grey Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.40_PM.png in the box beside the pharmacy name

 

Updating your Preferred Pharmacy right before a Virtual Visit:

  1. Login to your HealthTap account
  2. Select Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.45_PM.png
  3. Select the doctor you wish to visit with
  4. In addition to all the information you are prompted to enter, you will be asked “At which pharmacy do you prefer to pick up prescriptions
  5. Click Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.50_PM.png
  6. Search your pharmacy by either city or zip code
    • NOTE: you need to enter the exact city or zip code in order for your pharmacy to appear. Nearby cities or zip codes will not work
  7. If you wish to further filter results, click Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.53_PM.png and you may select (BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO):
    • Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.09.58_PM.pngif it is a 24-hour pharmacy
    • Screen_Shot_2019-02-27_at_1.10.05_PM.pngif it is a pharmacy that mails your medication to a specific place
  8. Select your pharmacy from the drop-down search list that is generated. You may need to scroll down (within the drop-down menu) in order to see all matching pharmacies.
  9. Once you have selected your pharmacy, it should appear in your Preferred Pharmacy section
