Some HealthTap Compass users may be selected to participate in on-going virtual care through HealthTap Concierge. Here are some FAQs related to the subject if you are one of these participants.
How have I been selected for this Concierge offering?
HealthTap is providing the concierge offering to a select group of Flex employees who may benefit from care management over the medium-term. This program is available to Flex employees who are also members of the Anthem insurance plan. We would like to reiterate that your participation in this program is fully on an opt-in basis. You can either click the button in your invitation email to express your interest in being a part of the program or send an email to email@example.com to add this service to your HealthTap Compass for Flex account.
If I am not already registered with HealthTap Compass for Flex, can I still join the concierge offering?
Yes, click on link in the email invitation you received to express your interest in the offering. You will receive a follow-up email from HealthTap as we finalize the overall concierge offering based on the number of Flex employees who decide to opt in.
Can my dependents also use the concierge offerings in this program?
No. At this time the program is only available to select Flex employees who are primary members in the Anthem plan.
Is there a charge to join this program?
For no additional cost, you can add this concierge program.
Do I need to download a new HealthTap app?
No, your current HealthTap app will provide you access to the concierge offering. In addition to speaking to a primary practitioner, you will also be able to use the HealthTap app to schedule consults with board-certified specialist clinicians at a convenient time.
Which connected devices will I receive as part of this program?
Your clinician will assign one or more wireless devices to you. These may include a weight scale, blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, glucometer, or other device depending on the care pathway tailored for you.
Can Flex see any of my personal health information that I add to the app?
No, Flex will not be able to view any of your personal health information in the app or know that you are an active participant in this concierge offering. This program is being fully administered by the HealthTap team. HealthTap handles patient information security and privacy very carefully and is SOC-2 Type II Certified and HIPAA compliant in its management of patient health information. The Flex plan will receive anonymous aggregated outcomes data, which can include participation rates, location engagement and health outcomes.
How can I consult with a doctor?
When you join the program you will be matched to a board-certified physician. You will receive an account credit so that the scheduled consults with that doctor are at no charge to you.
